Compensation:$90,000 - $135,000 yearly
Responsibilities:Represent clients facing criminal charges in New Jersey.
Negotiate with prosecutors to secure the best possible outcomes.
Develop tailored case strategies that address each client’s unique circumstances.
Conduct in-depth legal research and analyze statutes to build strong defenses.
Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, settlements, and other legal documents.
Manage a varied caseload with efficiency, ensuring deadlines are met and client communication remains a top priority.
Must have a JD degree and hold an active NJ law license in good standing.
Possess at least 1 year of experience in criminal defense.
Strong skills in research, writing, and negotiation are essential.
Ability to collaborate effectively as a team member.
Demonstrate a client-first approach with high emotional intelligence.
Consideration is given to small firm owners looking to focus solely on practicing law.
