Stakeholder & Coalition Engagement: Represent Midea in key trade associations (e.g., AHAM, AHRI, CTA), industry coalitions, and public policy forums. Engage with executive and legislative stakeholders on trade, sustainability, energy efficiency standards, and product safety. Risk Analysis & Strategic Counsel: Provide high-level risk assessment and actionable legal/policy counsel to executive leadership on emerging U.S. legislative trends, trade policies, and geopolitical regulatory dynamics. Agency Experience: High familiarity with CPSC rules, standards, enforcement, and compliance procedures. Strong working knowledge of Department of Commerce (BIS) trade/export control regulations and/or Department of the Treasury (CIFIUS) investment oversight processes.
