We are looking for caring, dependable drivers to join our team as Student Transportation Specialists . In this role, you will transport students safely from their homes to school in the morning and return them home in the afternoon.

This position offers a great balance of steady weekly income and mid-day flexibility, making it ideal for retirees, stay-at-home parents, gig drivers, or anyone looking for meaningful, consistent work that follows the school calendar.

To ensure maximum safety and comfort, every Philadelphia route includes a dedicated In-Vehicle Vehicle Monitor/Aide , allowing you to focus entirely on driving while your partner assists the students!

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport special needs students from home to school in the morning and back home in the afternoon.
• Assist students entering and exiting the vehicle, ensuring all seatbelts or safety restraints are properly secured.
• Maintain a calm, welcoming, and safe environment inside the vehicle.
• Communicate professionally and promptly with dispatch, parents, and school staff when needed.
  

Vehicle Requirements

To meet safety standards for student transport, candidates must provide a vehicle that meets the following criteria:

• 3-Row Vehicle: SUV, Crossover, or Minivan, etc (No 2-door vehicles or pickup trucks without full-size rear seating).
• Model Year: Must be 2016 or newer .
• Clean, reliable, well-maintained condition.
• Valid vehicle registration and active auto insurance.
  

Comprehensive Onboarding & Qualifications

Because we care deeply about the safety and well-being of the students we serve, we guide every driver through a comprehensive onboarding process before placing them on a route.

We walk you through each step of the process, which includes:

• Background Check & Screening: Passing a standard criminal background check and drug & alcohol screening.
• Basic Language Skills: Demonstrating basic English proficiency for clear communication with parents and school staff.
• Local & City Compliance: Meeting local city or district credentialing requirements (where applicable).
• Driver Requirements: A valid Driver’s License, a clean driving record, and a smartphone with GPS/navigation.
• Qualities We Value: Patience, punctuality, and empathy—prior experience with special education or childcare is a strong plus!
