Join us now. LIFEGUARD JOB DESCRIPTION A Lifeguard's primary responsibility is to ensure the safety of patrons at an assigned aquatic facility by preventing and responding to emergencies. Lifeguards are responsible for enforcing all pool rules fairly and consistently. Lifeguards ensure proper pool water chemicals, record keeping, and maintaining a clean and enjoyable aquatics facility. Lifeguards are also responsible for reporting any unsafe conditions or faulty equipment to their Supervisor.

LIFEGUARD REQUIREMENTS * Lifeguards
MUST be a minimum of 15 years old by the date of hire or the last day of the lifeguard course

MUST be able to work Memorial Day weekend, 4th of July weekend, and Labor Day weekend

MUST professionally conduct themselves and must be attentive and focused

Nationally Approved Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid Certificates or obtain them before the beginning of the season

Experienced, motivated Lifeguards who demonstrate excellent customer service, organizational, and leadership skills may be considered as a Pool Manager, with the opportunity for more responsibility and higher pay. T he season begins on Saturday, May 23rd, 2026. The season ends Monday, September 27th, 2026 Pay rate: $15.00/hr - $18/hr + Overtime (depending on experience).
