Dealership Driver / Vehicle Transport DriverPosition Summary

We are looking for a dependable and professional  Dealership Driver to assist with transporting vehicles between our dealership locations and delivering vehicles directly to customers.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys driving, has a flexible schedule, and takes pride in representing our dealership professionally. Drivers will be contacted as transportation needs arise and may make both local and longer-distance trips.

• Safely transport vehicles between dealership locations.

• Deliver purchased or serviced vehicles directly to customers.

• Pick up vehicles from customers, dealerships, auctions, vendors, or other designated locations as needed.

• Inspect vehicles for obvious damage or concerns before departure and upon arrival.

• Maintain communication with dealership personnel regarding pickup, delivery, and estimated arrival times.

• Ensure vehicles, keys, paperwork, and other materials are delivered to the appropriate person.

• Treat all customer and dealership vehicles with care and respect.

• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude when interacting with customers and dealership employees.

• Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures while operating dealership or customer vehicles.

• Assist with other vehicle transportation needs as requested.

• Must possess a valid driver's license.

• Must have a clean driving record.

• Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.

• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.

• Must be a safe, responsible, and courteous driver.

• Must be dependable and able to arrive on time for scheduled trips.

• Must be comfortable driving a variety of vehicles, including cars, SUVs, and pickup trucks.

• Must be able to follow directions and use GPS/navigation applications.

• Must have reliable communication and be reachable by phone when accepting assignments.

• Must be able to professionally interact with customers and dealership personnel.

This is an  as-needed driving position . Drivers will be contacted when vehicles need to be transported or delivered. Trips may include transportation between dealership locations, customer deliveries, vehicle pickups, and other dealership-related transportation needs.

Availability for occasional longer-distance trips is preferred.

The right person for this position is dependable, trustworthy, professional, and understands that they are representing our dealership every time they interact with a customer or take possession of a vehicle.
