CNC EDM Machinist — Sinker/Wire/Popper Specialist

Step into a shift where precision meets purpose. As a CNC EDM Machinist, you’ll start your day by confirming tooling and setups, loading programs, and bringing high‑tolerance parts to life on sinker, wire, or popper EDM machines. You’ll keep the cell flowing, communicate clearly at shift handoff, and leave your area spotless and 6S‑ready for the next teammate.

Your Schedule Options

• Afternoons: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Nights: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• Weekends (Fri–Sun): 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate CNC EDM machines — sinker, wire, or popper — with occasional support for grind operations.
• Machine and test parts to engineering and customer specifications, keeping machines properly tooled and maintained.
• Inspect/test parts against manufacturing standards and blueprint specs; visually check for burrs or surface damage.
• Maintain accurate part identification and documentation per planning specifications.
• Communicate shift‑change information clearly to the next team.
• Perform routine TPM on equipment.
• Follow safety rules, quality procedures, and company policy; maintain a clean, organized 6S work area.
• Keep materials and parts flowing through the cell.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–5 years of experience with wire or sinker EDMs (GD&T experience required).
• Familiarity with Siemens CNC controls is a plus.
• Ability to read/interpret blueprints, planning documents, and manufacturing specifications.
• Comfortable multitasking in a team environment.
• Physical capability: lift 50 lbs (4"–25"), push/pull 60 lbs, grip strength ≥50 lbs, reach above shoulder (65").
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if needed.

• $25–$37.50 per hour plus shift premiums.
